United States History is a course required for High School graduation. This course is a chronological study of the political, economical, and social forces that have shaped the evolution of the democratic way of life for the people of the United States. This course is designed to give the student an understanding of the United States from 1877 to the present and the subsequent geographical expansion, industrial and technical development, political movement and the wars of the twentieth century.
