Parents/Guardians:
The first couple of days have gone very well and it has been exciting getting to welcome all our returning and new students and families. Now as we prepare for the first full week of school, we would like to mention a few procedural issues:
On school days, the doors are unlocked at 7:30 A.M. for both High School and Elementary. HOWEVER, it is important to know that no official activities begin until 7:45 A.M.; this is when breakfast is served and when any scheduled tutoring sessions begin. 7:45 is also when duty teachers arrive at posts to supervise students who are not eating breakfast.
Elementary and Middle School students who are in the building at 7:30 will be directed to Mrs.Chavers' room (3rd-8th) and the Kindergarten room (PK-2nd) until the start of breakfast at 7:45 A.M. Classes begin at 8:15 A.M. for all students.
Also, our school's closed campus policy has been updated and now prohibits students from receiving food deliveries on campus. This includes 3rd party delivery services such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc., and restaurant deliveries. This is done to help us maintain school safety and limit the number of unknown visitors on campus.
